Muththaraiyaras are the kings of south india who ruled all over the south india from 250 A.D to 900 A.D. The Great Thirukural and Naladiyar were published during their period. you can find about these kings from the poems 200 and 299 from Naladiyar. Still the descentends of Muththaraiyaras acts in main role in Administration of Tamilnadu Government.
